About this repository

This is an institutional repository for Leeds Metropolitan University and comprises a research collection and a collection of Open Educational Resources (OER).

Open Access research archive: A centralised store of Leeds Met research outputs that can be accessed free of charge by anyone and will increase the profile of Leeds Met and of the research carried out here.

It also includes citation information of Leeds Met research though the intention is to provide full text access wherever possible.

OER repository: A store of Open Educational Resources produced at Leeds Met that are freely available for reuse under a Creative Commons (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 UK: England & Wales) licence

See here for more information on Open Educational Resources.

We are still developing the search functionality of the Open Search interface and any feedback is welcome - email repository@leedsmet.ac.uk.

What can be placed in the repository?

Research papers which have been or are in the process of being published.

Suitable research outputs will have at least one author from Leeds Metropolitan University and be published or have been accepted for publication and have copyright clearance for self-archiving (more detailed guidance on copyright is available).

Conference material including posters and other grey literature as well as papers published in peer-reviewed proceedings.

Research outputs will normally be in PDF format but can be sent to us in any format.

Open Educational Resources which have been produced by Leeds Met staff can include a variety of formats/file-types including multi-media. See here for more information.

Carnegie Pilot

The repository team are currently working closely with the University Research Office and Carnegie Faculty to integrate with the research life-cycle to capture bibliographic information and full text outputs at the point of publication. See the Carnegie Pilot page for more information.
